Trina is the Director of the School of Allied Health, and an Associate Professor in the Radiologic Science Technology Program.听 She has served as the director of the program and has taught a variety of courses within this program, with her main focus being the technical aspect of radiography.听 She currently teaches Analysis of Radiographic Quality, Physical Principles of Radiographic Equipment, Professional Communication in Health Sciences, Radiography Seminar, along with clinical practicum courses for students in both the first and second years of the program.
Trina is actively involved in professional development and continuing education for radiologic technologists.听 In addition to presenting at many continuing education conferences,听Trina has been involved in planning and organizing听professional development听events with other radiologic technology faculty. She also participated in the development of 开心鬼传媒's limited license program for Ohio and serves as both a didactic and clinical faculty for that program.听 Trina also has a desire to introduce students to the concept of professional development and lifelong learning by participating in and accompanying radiography students to various Kentucky and Ohio state professional society student seminars.听 She has also served as faculty advisor for the Student Radiologic Technology Club on many occasions.听 Trina has an interest in researching various pathologies and their associated radiographic appearance.听 She is also involved with research into reducing patient dose while maintaining image quality with digital radiographic equipment.
Trina earned her undergraduate degrees in radiologic technology and radiologic administration at听The University of Charleston in Charleston, WV.听听She completed her听Master听of Education degree with an emphasis in curriculum design and instruction at the University of Cincinnati.
